Another year around the sun
Feeling all the feels. Birthdays are magical around here.
Just when you thought that life was great… You get showered with LOVE from those hearts who choose to have you in their life, who honor and appreciate you, who love you and see you, who choose your time, your connection AAAAND YOUR LOVE!
My bucket is full. My heart is VERY happy. Do you love birthdays too? I find there is a big gap in those who love them and those who eek through the day wishing for the day to pass? I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM. My family are the birthday lords of celebrating each other so maybe that's why I love so much.
Every year on my birthday, about 8 years ago I started to pick a word/action that I can lean into … and this year it is ALIGNMENT

I am seeking alignment
Alignment is seeking me
We all have shiny parts and lowlight parts of our life. Awareness has taught me so much of what I'm capable of. This year I am releasing anything that is not in alignment with my heart.
If it doesn't belong to me…I am releasing it back to its' source
We hold so much don't we? As a parent, a spouse, a business owner, a friend, a leader, a coach, a neighbor … all the things… it's sooo much sometimes! What if we lovingly put down what wasn't ours to hold and we released it back to its' source? Release it to your spouse, your kids, your parents, your siblings, your partners? We can still honor it and NOT CARRY IT. I encourage to use my word of alignment if you don't have one of your own.
